Greetings! We are Andy and Cindy Stevens. We have brought Acti-Kare to the Findlay, Bowling Green, and Perrysburg areas because of our own personal experiences with our aging parents. Andy’s father chose not to be active in his later years. This led to severe physical and mental deterioration, and in Andy’s opinion premature death. While visiting us, Cindy’s mother fell down the stairs, causing a shoulder injury. She could have used in home care after her rehabilitation. Had there been a system like Acti-Kare keeping her mentally active as well as physically we would have used it.
Andy has an engineering degree from Purdue (don’t hold it against him buckeyes) and a MBA from Aquinas College. He is very detailed oriented which will be a positive to ensure care plans are followed, and well-thought out.
Cindy has been working with special needs children since 1998. Cindy’s patience and understanding compliments Andy when developing care plans. This ensures the client of the best care possible.
We moved to Findlay in 2001 from Sylvania. As members of First Presbyterian Church in Findlay we are proud to say we helped start Community Dinners as well as Food Distribution which are still on going.
We chose Acti-Kare because we want to provide highly qualified, compassionate and trustworthy caregivers. All of our caregivers have undergone thorough background and reference checks. We are committed to providing outstanding homecare services by keeping our clients active, exceeding our customer’s expectations, and treating every family member as if they were our own. Give us a call and we will be happy to discuss your needs and match them to our services.
